Artist Bio
In 1985, Born in Japan.There is a lake and many birds in my hometown.
I often went to the lake, I spend long times there. The birds and nature is the source of my imagination.
In 2003,I entered in Musashino Art university(Tokyo) I belonged to the department of oil painting and studied fine arts.
In 2013, I lived in Paris. I was fascinated by the beauty of the clouds in the sky and the colors, and rich culture of art.
In 2014, I came back to Japan
In 2017, I moved to south west of France.
In 2018, I moved to United Arab Emirates .Here is wonderful place for me, because this country is innovative and full of surprises. I had inspired by beautiful birds and amazing place.
In 2022, I moved to Provence in France. Like many great painters, my eyes are captivated by beautiful light and rich of natures.
Artist statement
My paintings can be viewed as a delicate blend of the following main ingredients:
i. A deep dive to my inner self and my consciousness . This is the start of my inspiration and my drawing process. This balancing act between reality and imagination forms the backbone or the base upon which I stand to create.
ii. Animals and nature are the main actors (or means) that I use to put substance around the backbone inspiration. These merged animals with nature scenes can originate from past visual experience with my imagination overlay as the story unfolds in my mind. I often use birds as part of the motif because I see them as a symbol of freedom and liberation. Like a bird I can travel freely to different imaginary and nostalgic places.
iii. ‘Yohaku’ - This traditional Japanese painting style using spaces painted in one colour. These otherwise “empty” spaces carry equivalent weight to the painted areas because they allow viewers to use and stretch their imagination. My paintings - alike to poems - are free to interpretation and I use the ‘Yohaku’ technique to encourage my viewers to add their personal imagination and character into interpreting each creation.
As a summary the 3 words I feel closer to when I create are : liberty, poetic and joy.

私の故郷には沼があり、鳥がたくさんやってきていた。
私はその沼で多くの時間を過ごし、その沼にやってくる鳥たちや水辺の景色は私の原風景だった。
幼少期から絵を描くことが好きで、美大に進み油絵を学ぶ。
2013年にはパリに1年間滞在し、絵画の中に描かれていたのと同じ雲や風景、色合いに刺激を受ける。
2014年日本に帰国
2017年フランスへ移住
2018年から2022年、アラブ首長国連邦・アブダビに住む
2022年にフランスへ戻り、現在は南仏・Provence地方に定住
フラミンゴが飛来する沼のそばのアトリエで制作を行う
アーティストステートメント
私の絵画は、内なる自己と意識を深く掘り下げることから始まります。
これが私のインスピレーションと描画プロセスの始まりです。
現実と想像の間のこのバランスをとる行為が、私が創作する際のベースを形成します。
ii. 動物と自然は、私がインスピレーションの根幹にしている主なモチーフです。
これらの動物と自然のシーンが融合したものは、過去の視覚体験に由来しており、物語が頭の中で展開するにつれて、私の想像力と重ね合わされます。
私は鳥を自由と解放の象徴と考えているので、モチーフの一部としてよく使います。
私はさまざまな想像上の懐かしい場所へ鳥のように自由に旅することができるように感じます。
iii. 余白 - 空間を一色で描く伝統的な日本画のスタイルです。
私はその手法を絵画の中によく取り入れます。また、絵の中の水平線について、線が生み出す立体感、境界の存在を感じながら物事を描き出します。
「何もない」ように見える空間は、鑑賞者が想像力を働かせ、伸ばすことができる役割を持たせています。
モチーフが描かれた画面と、背景のように見える余白の部分のバランスが、鑑賞者の想像の扉を刺激するように描くことを意識しています。
私の絵画は、詩のように自由に解釈でき、鑑賞者がそれぞれの作品を解釈する際に個人的な想像力と個性を加えられるよう「余白」を残しています。
要約すると、創作するときに私がより身近に感じる 3 つの言葉は、「自由」、「詩的」、「喜び」です。
